STEPHANIE'S GRADUATION

The last time we went to Lakeside was for Stephanie's graduation. I'm so glad we were able to make it and not be out of town. She is headed for BYU Idaho in September and we wish her the very best. As grandparents, we are very proud of her.

While we were there, Ashley gave us a little concert.

MOTHERS DAY

Mothers day was really special for me this year. This year everyone of my kids called me. Some just email a card, but I prefer talking to them. After all I don't get to see them often. Then the night before Tamyra and Wilson took Stan and I out to Golden Corral for supper so we wouldn't have to break the sabbath and feel guilty. I forgot my camera naturally. However, Tamyra also brought 2 dozen small pink roses and Stan gave me a dozen large red roses, so I made a corsage out of them. It's not very creative, but I enjoyed it.

OUR NOSEY NEIGHBOR

This month, we had our darling "nosey neighbor" over for lunch along with her caregiver. I mean it in a good way in that she takes such good care of us when we are on our missions. She watches over our property and makes sure that no one comes in our driveway without finding out who they are. She keeps her golf cart in our driveway also so that it looks like someone is living here. We wanted to do something nice for her since she got our mail for us during the month of April when we visited Mike's family. So we bought her a huge peace lily plant that had 6 blooms about to bloom on it and fed her lunch. I hope she enjoyed it. I know she loves the plant. Jean, our neighbor us the first woman on the left. Those are 2 Elders on the right.

LOTS OF TRIPS TO LAKESIDE IN MAY

Our first trip to David's in Lakeside was to see Ashleys science project, Stephanie's play and have an unbirthday party. Here is Ashley showing off her project. Later we went to see Stephanie play Cinderella in a play called Into the Woods. She sang a couple of solo's. She has a gorgeous voice and we enjoyed listening to her.
After we got home from the play we had an unbirthday party for Dave's kids. They don't like cake all the time so I made a razzleberry pie from Marie Callenders.
